Mobile Banking

Business First Bank Mobile Banking is available exclusively to Business First Bank Internet Banking customers. Mobile banking allows you to manage and access your account anytime, anywhere from any device.

To add Mobile Banking to your existing online banking account, get started below!

  • Login to your Internet Banking account and click the ‘Other Services’ tab near the top of the screen. Then click ‘MOBILE.’
  • Read the Mobile Agreement Banking Agreement, which contains the terms and conditions of use. Check the box next to “I Accept” and submit to continue.
  • Click on the ‘Enroll’ link and enter the requested details, including a Mobile Login ID and Mobile PIN that you select, and your Mobile Number.
  • Click Submit.
  • Once you enroll, you will receive two text messages- the first requesting you reply “YES” to complete your enrollment. The second text will provide you with the URL for the Mobile Site.
  • After replying “YES,” you will receive two additional text messages- the first confirming your enrollment and the second providing you with the 6 digit SMS/text number for Mobile Banking.
    (Tip: Bookmark our mobile site and add the text number to your phone’s contact list to quickly access mobile banking in the future.)

iPhone App Download
The iPhone App is FREE and available now for Apple devices. To download the Business Bank App, simply access the App Store from your mobile device and search for Business First Bank. Click “install” to download app. You will be asked to enter your iTunes account information to complete installation.

Android App Download
The Android App is FREE and available now for devices running the Android operating system. To download the Business First Bank Android App, simply access the Android Market from your mobile device and search for Business First Bank. Note: Must be enrolled for Business First Banking Internet Banking to connect Android App to account(s).

  1. Does it cost for Online Bill Pay?
    Bill Payment is a free service to Business First Bank Online Banking customers.
  2. When are my payments processed?
    The SEND ON date of your payment is the day we actually mail the check for paper payments; therefore, you will need to allow enough mail time. If the payment is electronic, your account will be debited on the SEND ON date and you should receive credit in 1-3 business days (depending on the vendor). You will need to allow ample time for your payments to be received and processed.
  3. When is my account debited?
    If the payment is a paper draft, the check is drawn against your account. You will be debited on the day you check is presented to clear just as if you wrote a check from your check book. If the payment you are making is electronic, you may be debited as early as the same day you submit the payment, but no more than the 2 business days following.
  4. My account was debited, but the payee does not show the payment posted with my payee.
    First, see how the bill payment cleared your account. If the payment was a check that has cleared, you may print the image of the check for proof to the payee. If you were electronically debited, please contact the bank with your posting ID number for further research.
  5. If I need to stop payment on an Online Bill Payment check, how do I know the check number?
    Your bill payment check number is the Posting ID number generated when you submitted the payment. This information can be retrieved on the “View Postings” screen of the Pay Bills part of the system. Generally, we do not charge a stop payment fee for Online Bill Pay checks.
  6. Why does Internet Banking reflect a memo debit on the effective date of a payment?
    There are several reasons for this. Many times it keeps customers from duplicating payments. The system does not recognize if the payment is “electronic” or “paper” until we process reports. If the payment was electronic, the debit may actually post that night and the system holds the funds to eliminate NSF. If the payment is to go out as a paper draft, the memo debit falls off and you will be debited when the check actually clears.

Night Deposits

Night Deposits allows clients to make deposits 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Overdraft Protection

Avoid paying NSF fees associated with overdrafts by linking your Business First Bank checking accounts to either your savings account, Money Market account or Home Equity Line of Credit (HELOC). With Overdraft Protection funds are automatically transferred from your linked accounts to cover overdrafts, as needed.

Overdraft Privilege

Overdraft Privilege helps protect you against having your items returned in the event of an inadvertent overdraft of your account by giving you a reserve for emergencies and unexpected situations.  There is no fee for having this privilege on your account; you are only charged if you overdraw your account.  You do not have overdraft privilege on your account until you receive written confirmation from us that it has been added to your account.  Please see a bank representative for more information on priviledge limits and fees.
