Chad McKeithen
Director of Depository Strategy
Chad joined Smith Shellnut Wilson in February 2022. He serves as investment manager to the firm’s institutional depository clients, and his role includes fixed income research, portfolio strategy, and trading. Chad works directly with SSW clients to help them achieve performance and revenue goals while also managing within their capital liquidity, and interest rate risk parameters.
Chad has 25 years of experience in portfolio management, ALM, hedging, and balance sheet management. Before joining SSW, Chad managed the fixed income strategies and research department as well as the asset and liability department at a large regional bank/broker dealer. Chad is a national speaker and author on fixed income, portfolio management, interest rate strategies, hedging, and balance sheet management topics.
Chad holds a BA in Banking and Finance from the University of Mississippi.
